Thirunavukkarasar Welfare Centre is promoted by Social activist Mr. P. Thirunavukkarasu along with like minded friends in Chennai.

Thirunavukkarasar welfare centre is involved is various social welfare activities towards the poor, elderly, destitute, physically challenged, mentally challenged and works for the uplift of all the downtrodden people in and around Chennai.

Dear friends, even if one day we lose everything, we will never lose the name we got from working for the society and the happiness that came with it.

Charity is the act of seeing a living being suffering and not being able to bear it and immediately running away to help. Thus there is no amount of charity to be done to the people of our country who are so backward. Our society is ravaged by poverty, illiteracy, ignorance, caste differences, untouchability, and superstitious practices. We are doing our service especially considering that the disabled are very backward.

Therefore, it is our duty as members of the society to work for the betterment of the society without any discrimination between children and adults.

Social Charity is not unknown to us. When we were students, organizations like the Red Cross, the National Student Corps and the National Welfare Program provided opportunities for charity in schools. Those of you who have joined and donated to it, you can continue to volunteer with us.
We will work diligently in collaboration with our Thirunavukarasar Welfare Center for better service.

அன்பார்ந்த நண்பர்களே, ஒருநாள் எல்லாவற்றையும் நாம் இழக்க நேரிட்டாலும் சமுதாயத்துக்கு பணி செய்து கிடைத்த பெயரையும் அதனால் வந்த மகிழ்ச்சியையும் ஒரு நாளும் நாம் இழந்து போவதில்லை .நாம் அனைவரும் சமுதாய உணர்வுடையவர்களாய் இருந்தால் வீடும், நாடும் நலம் பெறும்.

ஓர் உயிர் படும் துன்பத்தை கண்டு அதனைத் தாங்கிக் கொள்ள இயலாமல் உடனே ஓடிச் சென்று உதவுவது தான் தொண்டு. அவ்வகையில் மிகவும் பின்தங்கிய நிலையிலுள்ள நம் நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு செய்யவேண்டிய தொண்டுக்கு அளவே இல்லை. நம் சமுதாயம் வறுமை, கல்வியின்மை, அறியாமை, சாதிமத வேறுபாடுகள், தீண்டாமை, மூடப்பழக்க வழக்கங்கள் ஆகிய கொடுமைகளால் சிதைந்துள்ளது. குறிப்பாக மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் மிகவும் பின்தங்கியுள்ளனர் இதனை கருத்தில் கொண்டு நாங்கள் எங்கள் சேவையை செய்து வருகிறோம்.

ஆகவே சிறியோர், பெரியோர் பாகுபாடு இன்றி நாம் சமுதாயத்தின் உறுப்பாய் விளங்கி சமுதாய மேம்பாட்டுக்காக தொண்டாற்றுவது கடமையாகும்.

சமூகத் தொண்டு நமக்குத் தெரியாத ஒன்று அல்ல நாம் மாணவர்களாக இருந்த காலத்தில் பள்ளிகளில் செஞ்சிலுவை சங்கம், தேசிய மாணவர் படை, நாட்டு நலப்பணித்திட்டம் போன்ற அமைப்புகள் தொண்டு செய்ய வாய்ப்பு அளித்தன. அதில் தங்களை இணைத்துக் கொண்டு தொண்டு செய்தவர்கள், தொடர்ந்து எங்களோடு சேர்ந்து நீங்கள் தொண்டாற்றலாம்.
